My passion for photography began in 1990 as a sports photographer.
I documented all of the Chicago Bull’s championships.
My interest in photography now encompasses sports, animals, travels, and people.
My book, No Dogs Allowed, Buffy the Cat, will be coming out in September of 2009.
It is approximately 90 pages filled with humorous pictures and descriptive words about
my cat Buffy’s experiences. The target audience for this book is cat-lovers and children.
My book is about a cat that photographically performs the everyday activities of people.
The images portrayed have not been digitally re-formatted or falsely re-created using photographic modification software. Buffy, the cat portrayed in the book, actually models for the pictures seen within the images, whether sitting on the back of a horse, pushing a shopping cart, or teaching a math class. No Dogs Allowed, Buffy the Cat commences with the start of a person’s day and ends with his retirement.
The uniqueness of this book is that a cat is portraying a human’s everyday actions.
I was a sports photographer for the Chicago Defender for fifteen years. Other credentials include published photographs in Sport Magazine and Chicago Sun-Times, and numerous photographs on Fox Sports television. I have traveled to zoos throughout the world focusing on capturing unusual animal shots. All of these previous experiences have led me to the creation of this book.
Thank you for looking at Buffy’s pictures.
